Daytona Beach is one of the most visited tourist spots in the state of Florida. Main Street Pier

Hailed as the longest pier of the east coast, the Main Street Pier will give you everything you need to have a relaxing and fun-filled leisure time. If you’re daring enough, try the sky lift that takes you off the end of the pier. You can also watch the bustling beach town on top of the 180-foot observation tower. If you feel like going for a fishing trip, boat and fishing equipment rentals are available in various parts of the pier. There are also countless of restaurants that make the trip to this place satisfyingly scrumptious.

Delan Naval Station

This is an interesting museum that commemorates the activities in the Deland Naval Station during World War I. Whether you’re a history buff or not, you’ll be fascinated with the interesting artifacts features in the permanent exhibits of the museum. Here is where you’ll also find the Dauntless Dive Bomber. This was a craft that was used heavily during the world war. Guided tours are available but be sure to check out the schedule first.

Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Garden

Four lush acres of tropical plants that are native to the state are what would welcome you when you enter the Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Garden. This museum was actually founded to be a War Memorial. Nowadays, it serves as home to flora and fauna that never fail to entice and impress all the guests and tourists that visit this place. The museum also features varied artwork exhibitions from both local and international artists.

Ponce DeLeon Lighthouse

The Ponce DeLeon Lighthouse was built in the 1880s. It provides exquisite views of the coastal area, making the staggering 200 steps below it truly worth it. This lighthouse is also one of the oldest working lighthouses not only in Florida but in the entire United States.
